Notice of intent to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE contract with Honeywell to provide Delta Switch Retrofit/Fire Alarm Panel Replacements at DOE/AL. The purpose of this contract is to install a stand-alone Delta 1000 CPU System, remove and replace existing FS20 with FS90 fire alarm panels, and to remove and dispose of all FS20 fire alarm panels. The Department of Energy intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Honeywell is the only source that can provide the services required as the equipment is proprietary and necessary to maintain compatability. No other sources will be considered. Requests for solicitation will not be honored. Notice being made to satisfy requirements for FAR Part 5 only. Public solicitation will not be issued. Work to begin on or around 7/28/00.
