The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC) is seeking sources to provide a soft launch capability for the 83mm Bunker Defeat Munition (BDM). The soft-launch capability should allow the BDM to be safely man fired from within enclosures. The Government envisions this effort to include engineering design, analysis, and integration studies. Additionally, test hardware will be delivered for system test and evaluation with respect to noise and additional criteria. The response should include the status of current soft-launch design concept(s), along any supporting test data, for the 83mm BDM System.
