Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Headquarters intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract to Fatigue Technology Inc (FTI) of Seattle, Washington for the fabrication and delivery of tooling and install hardware to enhance the structural fatigue properties of EA-6B wings. Approximately 125 ship sets of cold expansion hardware and installation tooling, using FTI's proprietary process will be procured. FTI's enhancing design, was qualified by structural test and eliminates time consuming maintenance actions for the Navy. The contract will include a base requirement and four options. FTI is the designer, manufacturer and sole proprietor of the Forcemate cold expansion hardware and installation process.
