Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), Presidio of
Monterey, CA has a requirement for Eleven Analog Language Labs each
consisting of 42 student cassette player/recorders (36 for student
positions, 6 spares per lab), two instructor or master cassette
player/recorders, furniture for 36 student positions, an instructor
console and furniture, 48 headsets (36 for students positions, 1 for
the instructor console and 11 spare per lab), and necessary wiring and
electronics to interconnect the student and instructor position. Note:
The Analog Cassette Recorder/Players must all be 1/2 track and all
capable of playing and recording to standard C60 or C90 cassettes. 1/2
track capability is required due to the fact that the entire DLIFLC
tape-recorded material is in 1/2 track format. Prospective offerors
must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)
Database and provide evidence of registration when submitting a request
for the RFP. Evaluation Criteria in descending orderof priority are:
Performance, Cost, Reliability and Contractor Technical/Maintenance
