Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to specify that the Accom Recent Stratasphere to Affinity Upgrade Kit is to be the Digital Model and to answer a question posed by a vendor. The question and its answer is as follows. Q: Why does DFRC need an Accom Stratasphere Medea adapter kit if it is converting to Affinity? A: DFRC presently has two Stratasphere machines. One will be converted to Affinity and the other will remain unconverted. The Medea drives are set up to be compatible with the Affinity and not the Stratasphere machine. DFRC is using the Adapter Kit to connect the unconverted Stratasphere machine to the Medea drives. No kit will be needed to connect the Affinity machine to the Medea drives. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.
