The Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to negotiate a sole source contract to the National Academy of Science for a study to evaluate the performance of the Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH). This study will review and comment on the following aspects of the PATH: 1] its overall goals; 2] the approach proposed to meet the goals and the likelihood of achieving them; and 3] an assssment of the progress made in achieving the goals.
