526-6034 The National Marine Fisheries Service has a requirement to
characterize the foraging habits of the Hawaiian Monk Seal through the
use of ARGOS Satellite Technology. The scope of work involves all
phases of an investigation designed to characterize the pelagic habitat
of Hawaiian Monk Seals. This research will include programming and
testing satellite tags, deployment of satellite tags, downloading of
data from the ARGOS Data and Location Service (DCLS), analysis of data,
and writing of a scientific report on the results of the study. This
procurement will be conducted as a sole source procurement. For
