LIGHT RAIL: RFTP No. RT0000002: Request for Technical Proposals (RFTP) for the Vehicles and Systems Components for the Houston METRO Downtown to Astrodome Light Rail Transit System. METRO is soliciting unpriced Technical Proposals for the vehicles and systems components for a 7.5 mile surface Light Rail Transit System in the corridor from downtown Houston to the Astrodome. This is the first step of a two-step bid process. At the conclusion of step-one, technically acceptable firms will be invited to submit priced bids.
