A.E Servuces wukk advise on design, scheduling, construction management, coordination, & etc. Members of the design team must be able to address all aspects of design through post construction likely to occur on the project. A/E must have sufficient background in NFPA 101 Safety & JCAHO hospital operations to apply valid design options to known and planned situations. A/E must have a working knowledge of ARCHIBUS CAFM facility management software, Autocad 2000, Microsoft Project etc in order to interface with existing VAMC Engineering Systems. AE must have sufficient background in the design of fire alarm systems to provide valid options for consideration. Capable design teams that desire consideration are required to submit two copies of SF254 & 255's not later than July 27, 2000 to the Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, 500 Foothill BLvd, Salt Lake City, Utah 84148 Reference #660-034-00. The selected firm shall be required to respond in person at the Salt Lake City VAMC site within 6 hours for any services required under the contract. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Criteria to be evaluated by the evaluation board: 1. Professional Qualifications and experience of the firm. 2. Experience and professional qualifications of the firm's staff to be assigned to the project. 3. Overall performance record of the firm and analysis of the firms current workload. The estimated cost of the Construction contract is from $300,000 to $400.000.
