The Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Naval engineering Division intends to contract for the FY01 Drydocking and Repair of USCGC POLAR STAR (WAGB 10). The work package will include: drydocking of the cutter, main diesel engine block replacement, and various repairs to major cutter systems. This procurement will be issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Solicitation will be issued on or about 26 July 2000 with a proposal closing date of 25 August 2000. Period of performance will commence 4 December 2000 and conclude 31 March 2001. This will be an unrestricted best value procurement.
