Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the lease of 6 each 21 passenger buses and 6 each 25 passenger buses to support the Motor Transport Directorate, United States Army Service Center for the Armed Forces, Pentagon, Washington, DC. Leasing shall include all maintenance, minor and major repairs. Vehicles must have a valid registration and inspection stickers with the District of Columbia, Department of Motor Vehicles. Vehicles shall meet all state and local laws for operation on public highways. The contract period of performance is 1 October 2000 through 30 September 2001 with 3 option years.
