IAW AR215-1, 7-4 and 7-5 the US Army Alaska is conducting a review of potential contractor services for performance of the Directorate of Community Activity Services at the US Army garrison. Programs and facilities are geographically dispersed between Fort Richardson, located in Anchorage, Alaska and Fort Wainwright located adjacent to Fairbanks, Alaska. The major functional area under consideration is Information, Tickets and Reservations (ITR). The purpose of this notice is to identify and establish initial interest from the vendor community. Responses are for planning purposes only. There is no obligation on the part of the government to issue a formal solicitation as a result of this request and participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the US Government. Information may be used to help formulate bidder's mailing lists, acquisition strategies, to include socioeconomic program support and to help establish commercial practices available to the government. Companies responding may indicate interest in one or both functional areas. Services are currently being performed by Government employees (appropriated and nonappropriated funding). Provides programs/services: Assists customers in travel arrangements through internet and travel guides, arrange for group tours, obtain local tickets for special events/concerts, internet links to travel destinations, trip planning service, passport photos.
