The Presidio is a National Park and a National Historic Landmark. Contractor will excavate, stockpile, transport, and dispose soil containing petroleum hydrocarbons. Preservation and/or restoration of streets and underground utilities will be required. Davis Bacon Act (U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wages) applies. Minimum qualifications include insurance, bonding capacity, California A General Engineering Contractor License, and California Hazardous Substances Removal and Remedial Actions Certification. Estimated start date is October 2000; period of performance is approximately 90 calendar days from Trust's written Notice to Proceed.
