The plans and specifications will provide for the removal of approximately 1,873,000 cubic yards of dredged material comprised of maintenance material from 30,200 feet of project channel with variable widths of 0 to 1,200 feet to required depths of 47 to 51 feet (below mean low tide) and 2 feet of allowable overdepth. The plans and specifications also provide for the placement of approximately 380,000 cubic yards to raise the existing perimeter placement area levee to 19 feet MLT and the placement of approximately 20,000 cubic yards to raise the existing training levee to 19 feet MLT. The length of the perimeter levee is 35,000 feet and the length of the training levee is 2,900 feet. The plans and specifications will be available on compact disc only.
