Pak, Project Manager, 303-220-6541 E-MAIL: ERROR --, mstence1@email.usps.gov. The Postal Service is soliciting for a Repair and Alteration project to Replace the Chillers at the P&DC, 1001 E. Sunset Road, Las Vegas NV 89199-9998. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to satisfactorily install three (3) Owner furnished 452 ton York chillers (new chillers will be the only item furnished by the U.S. Postal Services (USPS). Provide temporary trailer mounted chillers while the decommissioning of the existing chillers and installing the new ones takes place. Provide electrical service to the temporary chillers and to the new chillers. Provide demolition as outlined in the documents and salvaging and protect on site, the roof top HVAC equipment to the USPS such that it may be re-used by the Owner in the future. Concrete slab repair, steel structure and deck repair, roofing systems repair, misc. interior finishes, signage, control systems, and MPE for a complete and ready to use system. The USPS will not permit the disruption of mail service as a result of the work herein outlined. It is the Contractor's responsibility to coordinate with USPS staff for minimal disruption to Postal Operations. The estimated construction cost range is $2,200,000 to $2,600,000 and the estimated performance time is 150 calendar days from the date of the Notice-to-Proceed is given. The solicitation will be available on or about June 29, 2000, and may be obtained by remitting a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $120.00 per set.
