This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is RP124800019 and is issued as a Request for Proposals. The proposal should be the standard product literature including the cost, in accordance with commercial item procedures. This procurement is unrestricted and is being advertised as full and open competition. The contractor shall provide: one rear engine, self propelled, min. 80 horse power John Deere or equal, diesel powered broom (street sweeper) with a self contained water system, hydrostatic drive, towing capability, certified roll over protection, retractable seat, sound suppressed cab with doors and wipers, enclosed canopy, min. 8 ft steel core with poly-wafer filled broom, radial tires, extension air cleaner stack with turboII pre-cleaner, min 150 gallon water sprinkler system with low profile tank, fenders, suspension seat, mounted spare tire, 7 1/2 ft front scraper blade, turn signals, head lights, amber beacon, reverse signal horn, ether cold start system, block heater, safety shut down system, heater and defroster systems, air-conditioning, windshield washing system, rear wiper, mirrors, tool box, vandalism/security system and extra broom core. Price broom and accessories separately. The unit will have a basic manufacturers warranty for a minimum of 1 year from the time and date of delivery. The unit will be delivered to Capitol Reef National Park within 90 days of acceptance.
