All services will be performed in the veteran's home or in a nursing home housing the veteran. The contractor shall furnish medical gases set ups and all related supplies, equipment maintenance, routine checks and repairs, parts, loaner equipment and back up systems. Included in this requirement are patient assessments, follow up visits, home safety checks, patient education, supervision and qualified competent personnel to perform home oxygen services per solicitation statement of work. Service is required 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Contractor must have a current certificate of accreditation by JCAHO. Contract will be for one (1) year from date of award with four (4) one (1) year renewal options, pending availability of each Fiscal Year appropriations. This is a commercial procurement using full and open competition. Solicitation package to be available o/a July 5, 2000.
