The National Park Service (NPS), Nez Perce National Historical Park is issuing Solicitation No. Q9370000010 which Requests Quotations for the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment, materials and performing all operations in connection with the work of drilling 2 water wells (1-ea) near the towns of Kamiah, ID and Whitebird, ID respectively, as described in the following: 2. EAST KAMIAH WELL: drilling one (1) new well six (6) inch diameter by approximately 300 feet deep, furnishing and installing one (1) submersible pump, connecting new well to existing distribution piping and decommissioning of one (1) existing well. A target yield of 15 gallons per minute is being sought from the new well. 3. WHITEBIRD WELL: drilling one (1) new well six (6) inch diameter by approximately 400 feet deep, furnishing and installing one (1) submersible pump, and stub-up for future connections. 4. The Government will reserve the right to award both Bid Items based to total quotation or individually, based on individual Bid Item Total. Only one award will be made for a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The Government reserves the right to make no award whatsoever. Contractor (or Subcontractor) actually performing the work must be licensed in the State of Idaho. Actual well site locations will be staked in the field by the National Park Service. 5. The Government Estimated BID RANGE for all work specified in this Request for Quotation is $25,000 to $100,000. Anticipated award date of August 8, 2000 and full performance of all work awarded is to be completed Not Later Than September 30, 2001. 6. BID & PERFORMANCE & PAYMENT BONDS ARE REQUIRED. 7. Solicitations will be sent either by FEDEX or Priority Mail at the Government's discretion. All solicitations will be sent simultaneously on July 11, 2000. 8. There will be a PRE-BID Meeting and SITE VISIT conducted at 9:00 o'clock AM PDT on Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at the Administrative Offices located at Nez Perce National Historical Park, Spalding, Idaho. Spalding is located approximately 10 miles east of Lewiston, ID on Highway 95 South. 9. The Solicitation will close on Monday, July 31, 2000 at 4:30 o'clock PM PDT. Per the Solicitation, QUOTATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED in the Administrative Offices at Spalding, Idaho Not Later Than 4:30 o'clock PDT on Monday, July 31, 2000.
