Liburd, Contract Specialist, 202-226-2557 The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to design, fabricate, and deliver a one dual fuel, low NOx burner on Boiler No. 4. The work will consist of but is not limited to: one high quality package burner for firing of natural gas or No.2 fuel oil in an existing Erie City "O" type boiler, windbox assembly, register, pilot gas ignition train, fuel oil and atomizing trains (steam & air atomizing), fuel oil gun assembly, main gas train, burner wiring to flame safeguard system. Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. A contract will be awarded using competitive negotiation procedures requiring submission of technical proposals. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 17, 2000. This solicitation is issued on an "unrestricted basis" inviting full and open competition.
