Project is located on the Malheur National Forest, Murderers Creek Wild Horse Territory. Work consists of gathering approximately 86 wild horses from two separate areas and transporting them to the BLM holding facility in Hines, Oregon. Gather areas are located in forested areas. Gather may be accomplished by horseback, by helicopter, bait trapping, roping, or tranquilizing. Work is scheduled to begin December 1, 2000 with snow on the ground. Proposal due date will be stated in the solicitation and award is expected to be before September 30, 2000. This project is totally set-aside for small business concerns.
