welchjl@state.gov. 17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being
requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The
solicitation number for this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is
S-LMAQM-00-Q-0100. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. The
SIC code for this procurement is 3679 and the associated size standard
is 500 employees. FAR 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition. The
Department of State intends to procure the following Multi-User
Switches and associated optional items on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis:
CLIN 001 6 Each -- Multi-User Matrix KVM Switches each switch shall
have the capability for 8 users to individually or simultaneously
control up to 32 computers. Switch shall be capable of controlling PC,
SUN or MAC computers. Shall be 19-inch rack mount; CLIN 002 192 Each
-- Multiplexer Plug-in Module for PC CPU; CLIN 003 48 Each Multiplexer
Plug-in Module for PS/2 Keyboard/ Mouse. Allows keyboard and mouse to
control the ST switch via On-Screen Display menu; CLIN 003 6 Each Dual
Redundant Power Supply; CLIN 004 192 Each 50 foot Multi-coax SVGA video
cable, 15 HD male-male; CLIN 005 192 Each 50 foot "Y" cable, 8mD male
to 2-6mD males (connects PS/2 keyboard and mouse ends for keyboard and
mouse use); CLIN 006 48 Each 50 foot Multi-coax SVGA video cable, 15
HD male-female; CLIN 007 48 Each 50 foot PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse in one
cable, 6mD male-female "Y" on each end. DELIVERY: Items shall be
delivered within 30 days to the Washington DC metro area location
specified at the time of award. All items shall be FOB Destination
(Washington DC metro area). DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE: Offerors are to
provide descriptive literature for the items proposed and warranty
information. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of FAR
52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS COMMERCIAL ITEMS
with their offer and that the clause FAR 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND
CONDITIONS COMMERCIAL ITEMS applies to this acquisition. The clause FAR
