Stewart (202)307-3070 The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide Residential Community Corrections Center Services for male and female juvenile offenders in the Southern Minnesota area. This area is defined as the following Southern Minnesota counties: Houston, Winona, Filmore, Olmsted, Dodge, Steele, Waseca, Blue Earth, Watonwan, Cottonwood, Jackson, Martin, Faribault, Freeborn, Mower, Lyon, Redwood, Brown, Nicollet, Le Sueur, Rice, Goodhue, Wabasha, Dakota, Scott, Sibley, Renville, and Yellow Medicine. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Non-Secure Contract Juvenile Facility," dated May 11, 1998. A requirements contract is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days are 3,650 for the two-year base period and 1,825 for each of the three one-year option periods (80% male and 20% female). The estimated RFP issue date is August 21, 2000 and the estimated closing date is October 20, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
