The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Philadelphia intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price contract for comprehensive Industrial Hygiene program services in support of Naval Hospital Camp Lejune, NC. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR 6.1. A twelve month base period of performance along with four one year option periods are contemplated. This requirement will be solicited using commercial items practices in accordance with FAR part 12. This solicitation is part of a Government cost comparison to determine whether accomplishing the specified work under contract or by Government performance is more economical . If Government performance is determined to be more economical, this solicitation will be coancelled and no contract will be awarded. Offerors shall be required to submit cost and technical proposals.
