REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: The United States Army, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Strategic Mobility Division is requesting information from commercial industry concerning new and/or programmed developments in long range heavy airlift capability. The Logistics Management Institute (LMI) will represent the U.S. Army in its search for available information. Specifically, the U.S. Army requests information on any platforms planned and/or programmed that are planned or capable of airlifting 150-1000 short tons over a range of at least 2,300 nautical miles, have a maximum range of at least 4,000 nautical miles, use existing ground and cargo handling infrastructure, and operate on existing airfields.
