The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement for 4 each, dehydrators, condenser-filter, low pressure air to be installed on the USS Blue Ridge. The dehydrators shall utilize the ship's chill water to condense water vapor from the compressed air. The units shall be automatic and shock tested per MIL-S-901, vibration tested at 4-50HZ per MIL-STD-167-1, and EMI/RFI tested per MIL-STD-461C. All such testing is the responsibility of the contractor, and must be accomplished and approved before the required delivery. Delivery of the units shall be made to Yokosuka, Japan, no later than 40 days after contract award. The RFP will be issued on or about 27 Jul 00 with a 30 day closing.
