PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY ASIT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F65501-00-00Q0263 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated document provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3728. TACTICAL DEICER: Line Item 0001: 1 EA, Specifications: Unit will be constructed on a structural steel skid with a deck plate. 255 gallon, Department of Transportation approved, stainless steel tote storage tank is required. It will be insolated with 1 1/2" of foam insulation protected by an aluminum jacket. Valving will provide insolation of the tank during shipment. Diesel fuel, storage tank of approximately 20 gallons, is required to provide fuel for diesel engine and heater. Heating requirements are a 400,000 BTU/HR, fuel oil fired burner (jet fuel capable) with adjustable temperature controls (185 deqrees F max.). 15 H.P. diesel powered engine w/16amp charging system to provide power for a 15 gallon/minute, positive displacement pump capable of 500psi max. Adjustable pressure requlation and bypass protection is required. Power rewind hose reel capable fo holding 60 feet of 3/4" hose with spray nozzle. Protection against low fluid flow and heater high tempetature will be provided to protect heater form damage. Provisions will be provided to enable the filling the 255 gallon tank, using the diesel driven pump on unit. Must meet all airworthy requirements, transportable with fuel in unit. Delivery terms shall be FOB destination with delivery to BLDG 17470, AIRLIFTER DRIVE, Elmendorf AFB, AK 99506, NLT 8-10 weeks ARO. The following provisions and clauses are incorporated and shall remain in effect in any resultant purchase order: FAR Part 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items is incorporated by reference. The provision at FAR Part 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to the solicitation. Award will be made based on low-price/technically acceptable offeror. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote received without discussions. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR Part 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its quote. FAR Part 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The contractor shall extend to the government their standard warranty offered in similar types ofsales. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the governments right with regard to the other terms and conditions of the contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the items listed in the schedule. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
