The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, (BEP) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed price Purchase Order for one (1) each: Wiper Roller Storage Carousel System in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 2542, with a small business standard of 500 employees. This Procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The BEP will evaluate all quotes based on the Offeror_s Technical approach to meet all specified technical requirements, clarity and completeness of the quotation, expeditious delivery, past performance and experience, and overall delivered price, in descending order of importance. Award shall be based on the best value to the Government. An on-site visit is scheduled for 08/09/2000 at 10 am, EST; all interested vendors shall provide the name(s) of their personnel that will attend by fax or e-mail no later than 08/08/2000. Acceptance of the equipment shall be based on a successful Bureau Acceptance Test (BAT), which willoccur within 30 calendar days after delivery, installation, and set-up.
