This award will be made under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisitions and FAR Sub-part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This is notification to interested parties. The reference number for this announcement is F08651-00-T-0147. This contract will be for the manufacture and delivery of an X-ray diffractometer which is capable of analyzing air sensitive samples. The entire XRD system, including goniometer, X-ray source, generators, water chiller, and computer should be part of the system. Additionally, software capable of analyzing data, reporting data in final form, identification of phases, quantificaiton of crystalline phases present, and refinement of diffraction data should be included.
