West -- 202.727.7090 The District of Columbia Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) is soliciting proposals from qualified sources for Information Technology Services for the following tasks, to include, but not limited to: Continuous support of the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS); Helpdesk services which relate to the daily, monthly and yearly maintenance of existing Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) technical infrastructure connectivity for electronic mail and data base access. The CFSA operates 24 hours providing services related to foster care, adoption, protective and other cross-related services as determined by the General Receiver for the District of Columbia's youths in need of such services. While the request is designed for an open market solicitation, local disadvantaged, women and/or minority business enterprises are encouraged to respond. The CFSA intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the services on or about July 21, 2000. Approximately two (2) weeks after it's release a mandatory Pre-proposal Conference/Site visit will be scheduled at a location to be determined at a later date and referenced in the RFP. Offerors who do not attend will not be allowed to submit proposals.
