DESC: This is a presolicitation notice for the construction of a C-17 Flight Training Simulator Facility for the Miss Air National Guard, Jackson, MS (MAJ Marty Bryant, Base Civil Engineer, 601-936-8377. The work includes construction of a 12,600 sq. ft one-story building. The construction will consist of concrete slab with grade beams and concrete cast-in-place piers at the steel columns, structural steel framing system, metal stud with gypsum board interior non-loadbearing walls, insulated windows, and epdm roofing system on metal decking. Utilities and support facilities include plumbing, gas-fired heating system, ventilation system, air conditioning, water, electric power, sanitary and storm drainage systems. Approximately 3000 sq. yds of asphalt paving, approximately 2000 linear feet of concrete curb-and-gutter, an irrigation system and landscaping are also included. Estimated construction range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542.
