Scope of work includes but is not limited to, demolition of existing partitions, VCT floors, ceilings, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and asbestos abatement as shown on the drawings. Provide new partitions, floors, HVAC, ceiling, plumbing, electrical and casework, etc. as required by the specifications and drawings. Perform asbestos removal on plaster ceilings and pipe insulation on ground floor southeast and pipe insulation on floor below (basement). All work shall be done in phasing. Contractor is responsible for moving existing furniture and equipment, etc. to temporary location in order to perform the work in each phase. Contractor is also responsible for moving existing furniture and equipment, etc. to permanent location after completion of work. Provide all testing (medical gas, HVAC) required by the specifications. All work to be done in complete compliance with drawings and specifications. Contractor is responsible for purchasing equipment such as narcotic cabinet, clocks, lockers and project screens, etc. Estimated cost of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
