The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and expertise to repair or replace roofs as needed on 112 military family homes, located at Ft Leavenworth Ks. The work includes but is not limited to removal and installation of all shingles, felt, and flashing, as well as preparation and painting of fascia, trim, and metal roofing as indicated on the drawings. The work includes removal of lead based paint incidental to surface preparation. The buildings will be occupied during construction. The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and completed within the time frames required by the statement of work. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This will be a firm fixed-priced requirements type contract. Ordering period is for one year from the date of the award. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1761. The size standard for a smallbusiness concern is $7 million. IFB issue date will be on or about 20 July 2000. One site visit will be scheduled for this project, time and date to be announced in the solicitation package.
