Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to change Paragraph 5 from: "Specifications and drawings will be provided upon request" to "Drawings will be provided upon request," and to add minimum specifications: Specifications: The precision frequency source specified herein shall contain an oversized crystal oscillator (OCXO) with a 25 MHZ output and a X10 frequency multiplier providing the 250 MHZ outputs. 1. Input: 28 VDC +/- 6V A. Shall be capable of operating from either of two redundant 28 V inputs. B. Shall provide isolation > 10 Megohms between the 28 V input returns and all signal returns. C. Shall provide isolation > 10 Megohms between the 28 V input returns and chassis. D. 9-pin D connector as shown in drawing GD2020191. 2. Outputs:A. Fundamental crystal oscillator @ 25 MHZ +/- 1 MHZ (square wave output, CMOS logic, 0-5V) -- one output. B. 250 MHZ +/- 10 MHZ (square wave output, differential ECL) -- 3 outputs. C. Combo-D connector as shown in drawing GD2020191. 3. Loads: A. 25 MHZ output shall be capable of driving one CMOS equivalent load. B. Each 250 MHZ output shall be capable of driving one ECL load. See attached diagram. 4. Frequency stability: A. Drift rate less than 5 PPB/day with a goal of less than 0.5 PPB/day after 4 weeks continuous operation. B. Allan variance not to exceed: 1X10E-7 over 5X10E-3 seconds, 1X10E-7 over 5X10E+3 seconds, 1X10E-6 over 5X10E+7 seconds. 5. Noise: A. Phase noise @ 25 MHZ not to exceed: -60 DBC @ F=F+10HZ, -90 DBC @ F=F+100HZ, -130 DBC @ F>F+10 KHZ. 6. Mass not to exceed 400 grams. 7. Power consumption: A. Not to exceed 6 watts peak; B. Not to exceed 4 watts average power after 1 hour operating. 8. Dimensions not to exceed 6"X3"X1.5" (excluding connectors). 9. Environment: A. Temperature—operate in spec: 10 to 60 deg. C, Operate out of spec: 0 to 70 deg. C, survival: -10 to 80 deg. C. B. Operate in vacuum. C. Vibration: -unit shall survive launch vibration levels (TBS). 10. Parts: A. Parts selection shall be in accordance with NASA GSFC Level 2 Program Requirements per NASA GSFC PPL-21. B. A complete bill of materials shall be provided to GSFC for review prior to fabrication.
