Olsen, Contracting Officer, (720) 962-7156 The Western Area Power Administration (Western) has a requirement for the following: one (1) 3-phase 115/34.5-kV, 12/16/20 MVA power transformer (Group I), one (1) 3-phase 34.5-2.4-kV, 1.5 MVA power transformer (Group II), one (1) 3-phase 115/69-13.2-kV, 12/16/29 MVA power transformer (Group III),. Each transformer will include transformer oil, tools, appliances and spare parts. Delivery will be FOB Destination Within Consignee's Premises to various sites within Western's Upper Great Plains Region, and will include the services of an erecting engineer. Optional items include a gas-in-oil monitor for each transformer, and a load tap-changer monitor for the Group I and III transformers only. Western will be issuing a Request for Quotations for the required transformers under the authority of FAR.13.5. RFQ DE-RQ65-00WA54403 will be issued o/a 7/21/00. This acquisition is a partial small business set-aside for the Group II transformer. Groups I and III transformers are unrestricted. The Standard IndustrialCode is 3612 and the size standard is 750 employees. All requests for the RFQ must be in writing and may be submitted by facsimile to (720) 962-7161.
