Description 16-Subject Hanging Frame: Custom Acrylic Frame Custom Walnut Wood Top Brass Chain and Hook Assembly Packaging of Acrylic, Walnut Top & Chain Assembly Specifications for Production of Frames: Dimensions: 12.75 inches x 21.5 inches Acrylic U-Bend Frame, (Acrylic Blank = 12.75 inches x 43.25 inches), Acrylic thickness 1/10 inches, Edges Polished, Packaging: Each Frame in Individual clear plastic bag, two 1/8 inch diameter holes drilled at top edge of acrylic, Hole Placement: @1.25 inch center (1 14 inch from side) @0.1875 inches center (3/16 inches down from top) Other Acrylic Frame Characteristics: Specifications RE: Bend Tightness & Uniformity Bends should be tight _ but not entirely closed (i.e, not pinched) There should be a small rounded/tear drop opening at the bend of about 1/16 inches _ with the sides of the plastic coming firmly together ideally within 1 inch (maximum of 2 inches) of the bend (I.D.) Bends should not bubble at center (I.E., bend should be of uniform Thickness across the entire length of the bend _ The bend should not be thicker in the middle of the frame than the sides There should be no pinch marks on the bends -- (I.E. No marks from where pressure is applied at or near the bend.) Specifications RE: Alignment the Edges: Jointing of edges to be done after (not before) bending for perfect alignment of the edges. Specification RE: Edge Finish: Clean jointed edge with no saw marks or nicks flame polished after bending Specification RE: Scratches & Acrylic Surface: No scratches or scratch-like blemishes allowable. Plastic coating to be peeled off of acrylic. Specifications RE: Allowable Debris between Acrylic Sheets: No debris (plastic chips, etc.) inside acrylic bends. Custom walnut Wood Top: 3/4 inch square walnut wood blank 21.5 inches long with rounded (routered) edges (all 4 corners), 2/10 inch slot lengthwise to accommodate top of acrylic frame two 3/8 inch holes drilled to accommodate hookassembly, hand rubbed finish.
