AMC Acquisition Center intends to award a contract to provide integration support services to the Program Manager for Chemical Demilitarization. The effort is for program management and site support. The Government anticipates award of a indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (task order)contract. The contract will be characterized by: a five year performance period; a minimum level of effort; and a statement of work that describes the general scope, nature, complexity, and purpose of the services to be procured under the contract. Task orders will be negotiated on either a firm-fixed price, cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF), or cost-plus-incentive-fee (CPIF) basis. In order to optimize the solicitation: A pre-solicitation notification was published in the Commerce Business Daily on 20 April 2000 to ensure that the broadest range of the business community has the opportunity to participate. A pre-solicitation conference was held 3 May 2000 to describe the acquisition and to address questions raised by all parties. The Government provided the questions and answers thereto to all parties.
