The USDA Forest Service, Southwestern Region, intends to contract for aircraft painting services as well as furnishing and installing Radome Boot; SS Engine Fasteners; and SS Airframe Screwkit for (3) three each U.S. Government Forest Service Beechcraft Baron 58P aircraft using the Commercial Acquisition process. All work shall be performed in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations. The contractor shall have at least one staff member with Airframe and Powerplant certification. The Contractor shall have their facility located within 500 nautical miles of Albuquerque, New Mexico as well as experience painting aircraft with polyurethane paints. It is anticipated that an RFQ will be issued on or about July 24, 2000. The completion of this contract is anticipated to be February 2001. This procurement is set aside for small business.
