Background "Non-personal services to provide 40 HOURS PER WEEK ON-SITE coverage for maintenance and repair of NON-ADPE hardware for navigation and flight control instrumentation, guidance equipment and global positioning satellite (GPS) equipment, including a remote-controlled GPS test vehicle. In addition to maintenance and repair, the contractor shall provide training to students and other government personnel on the operation of the equipment and technical support for scheduled classroom laboratories and thesis students. Contractor must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the architecture, operation and interfacing of Integrated Navigation Systems, GPS Receivers, flight control equipment and supporting peripherals, including Sun, SGI workstations, UNIX-based operating systems and PCs. Contractor must be qualified to provide comprehensive maintenance support for the laboratory equipment at both the user and systems level. Period of performance is 01 Oct 2000 through 30 Sep 2001. Anticipated award date is 01 Oct 2000, subject to the availability of funds for Fiscal Year 2001.
