of the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) intends to award a
simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Oregon Research
Institute, 1715 Franklin Blvd, Eugene Oregon 97403-1983. The basis for
this requirement is: To conduct a case study that: 1) compares a group
of practitioners trained in a research setting to a group of
individuals trained in a community setting to deliver the
Webster-Stratton Parent Training Program (PTP)and 2) a qualitative
evaluation of the experience of real world trainees (i.e., those
practicing in a community setting) in attempting to be faithful to the
Webster-Stratton PTP. The proposed simplified acquisition is for
services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with
only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may
identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement
or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. It is anticipated
that award of this requirementshall be on or about August 4, 2000.
