The Program Support Center on behalf of the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to The Society for Prevention Research, John Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, 5200 Eastern Avenue Suite 500 West, Mason Lord Building, Baltimore MD 21224. The basis for this requirement is: To contact key organizations or agencies that are identifying and/or disseminating empirically based prevention programs, and engage these organizations in a process to promote national discussion regarding identifying evidence-based programs or policies. The contractor shall design and implement a Roundtable discussion with key organizations and agencies, researchers involved in developing these standards, and practitioners/administrators who would eventually use a standard of evidence in making clinical/administrative decisions about what program to adopt. The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued.
