THIS SOLICITATION IS A COMPETITIVE 8(A) PROCUREMENT RESTRICTED TO DALLAS OR SAN ANTONIO SBA DISTRICT 8(A) PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. ONLY PARTICIPANTS WITH BONA FIDE PLACES OF BUSINESS WITHIN THE ESTABLISHED GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES OF DALLAS OR SAN ANTONIO DISTRICT OFFICES WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT BIDS. Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for approximately 12 kilometers of paved surface of varied widths and sections, up to 99,000 square meters of hardstand area of varied sections, and storage pads with lightening protection. Optional bid items include a portion of hardstand area and lighting for hardstand. Project includes a scale for weighting fully loaded tracked combat vehicles. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5" diskette, CD ROM, and/or the Internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet and CD ROM. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as Internet only. No additional media (Floppy Disks, Faxes, or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary.
