for the construction of Panjab and Sheep Creek Trail Bridges. The
project consists of the construction of a trail bridge at the Sheep
Creek crossing of Forest Service Road (FSR) 4712 and the construction
of a trail bridge at Panjab Trailhead. These sites are located
approximately 50 miles northeast of Walla Walla, Washington. Travel
north on U.S. Highway 12 appoximately 14 miles to the Tucannon River
junction. Travel east on the Tucannon River road (approximately 24
miles) and this road will turn into Forest Service Road (FSR) 47.
Travel approximately 7 miles to the intersection of FSR 4712 and 4713.
Panjab Trailhead is located 2.5 miles south on FSR 4713 at Trailhead
86. Sheep Creek trail bridge location is 4 miles east on FSR 4712.
Contract time is 120 days with a desired start work date of September
15, 2000. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
