Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to complete "Paint Exterior Bldg. 151, 28", Project 649-99-104, at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System, Prescott, Arizona. Work will provide for a solid, even paint finish to all previously painted surfaces on exterior Bldg. 151 and prepare and paint of previously unpainted steel railings, catwalk and storage containers around chillers. Prepare and paint exterior painted surfaces of Bldg. 28. The exterior paint is generally in poor condition with paint known to contain varying amounts of lead. Repair/replacement of selected building components shall be accomplished by others after lead abatement has been completed. A minimum of 2 weeks will be required for VA to accomplish this work prior to start up of painting. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Construction cost estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. SIC Code is 1721. Bidding material will be available on or about July 27th, 2000.
