Systems Command intends to place an order with Northrop Grumman
Corporation. The Contractor shall utilize the methodology of O&A's 158
& 169 to generate time compliance tables by aircraft for the following
specific areas: 1) Wing Center Section (WCS), Rear Beam Hilt Fitting
Area, 2) FS 282 Upper Longeron, 3) FS 359 Upper Longeron, and 4) WCS
Main Beam. The Contractor shall evaluate these SLEP enhancement
locations to determine the most critical detail within each location
based on Teardown Inspection results and applicable analysis from
relevant O&A's. Northrop Grumman, as the designer, developer, sole
manufacturer, and systems integrator of the E-2C/C-2A aircraft is
uniquely qualified to perform these efforts due to their technical
knowledge of the aircraft's design, production engineering and its
highly complex systems integration. Only Northrop Grumman possesses the
data and can provide the in depth technical/engineering services
required to support the integration of this technology within the
desired schedule dictated by program requirements. See Note 22. NAVAIR
