The National Institute of Standards & Technology(NIST) has a requirement for millimeter wave modules as part of a millimeter wave measurement system (50 to 110 Ghz). The critical specifications are as follows: (A) WR-15 Specifications (transmit): 1) System operating frequency equals 50 to 75Ghz; (receiver) 50 to 75Ghz. 2) Source input frequency equals 12.5 to 20 Ghz; (receiver) n/a. 3) Source input power equals plus 5dbm to plus 13dbm; (receiver) n/a. 4) test port output power equals plus 2dbm minimum plus 7 dbm; (receiver) n/a. 5) Test port input power equals minus 10 dbm input signal; (receiver) minus 10dbm input signal at 0.1 db comp. 6) Mixer LO frequency equals 10 to 15Ghz (x5); (receiver) 10 to 15Ghz (x5). 7) Mixer LO drive equals plus 5 to plus 13 dbm; (receiver) plus 5 to plus 13 dbm. 8) Test dynamic range equals 80dbm minimum; (receiver) 80dbm minimum. 9) If frequency range equals 10 to 300 Mhz; (receiver) 10 to 300 Mhz. 10) Coupler directivity equals 35db minimum; (receiver) n/a. 11) Testinterface equals MIL.-f-3922/67b-008(ug 385/u) for MMW test port.
