The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Dr. Anna Kraut-Vass of Reisterstown, MD to correct and edit chemical compound data (chemical formula, chemical name, ESCA formula, CAS registry number, class assignment) to be included in the NIST X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) Database. This data analysis is pursuant to understanding nomenclative rules of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry and the NIST Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) Database. The proposed work requires very comprehensive and specialized knowledge and understanding of nomenclative rules of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, chemical nomenclature, and the NIST Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) Database. She will use this expertise and unique experience to accomplish the required tasks. See Note 26. No solicitation package will be issued. The intended period of performance is one year.
