The Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia is seeking a qualified individual or organization to provide the services of an Optometrist. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Non-Personal Services Requirements contract that includes One Base year and the Government's unilateral right to exercise four, twelve month option periods. Scheduling will normally consist of two sessions per month, with each session being four hours in duration. The Contractor will be required to assess inmates optometry needs through vision testing, tonometry testing, write prescriptions for corrective lenses, evaluate common eye pathology, and suggest treatment programs.
