PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. This project includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment to repair Drydock #5 stairs/rails/caisson seat at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington. The work includes various concrete repairs to access stairs and the inner caisson seat at Drydock #5. The work also includes installation of new metal handrails, guardrails, gates, and incidental related work. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be required. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1771. The related small business size standard is $7 million. The estimated cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is open to all business concerns. Plans and specifications will be issued on CD-ROM only and not available on paper (hard copy) format. The solicitation will be provided for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/ for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing the solicitation. It is the bidder's responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments and notices to this solicitation. The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed from the web site. All prospective bidders and plan centers are encouraaged to register as plan holders on the web site.
