Furnish and Install one new 200KW Emergency Generator and all associated controls and accessories at Building No. 7278 Fort Campbell, KY. Furnish and install new exhaust system and 25-gallon day tank on new Generator. Provide all necessary wiring, lightning protection, fire suppression, new grounding, transfer switch-connections to existing distribution panels in Bldg. 7278. Provide portable 500KW generator with 100-gallon fuel tank with at least 24 hours supply at 100% load, and all associated controls and connections to supply emergency power to Building 7277 for duration of power outage required for this project. Remove the metal enclosure of 700KW generator for building 7277 and construct new pre-engineered metal housing, complete with doors and louvers as to accommodate existing and new 200KW Generator. Install new interior lighting, convenience power outlets, distribution panel and wiring with metal conduit and THHN wire inside the metal housing. Remove belly tank from existing 700KW generator and install one new 100 gallon day tank, also replace exhaust system of existing 700KW Generator with a new one. The complete installation shall be done in accordance with requirements of NEC, 1999. The Period of Performance is 270 Calendar Days. Range for this project is $100,000 to $250,000. This project is open to both large and small businesses and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Current SIC 1731/$7.0 Million. Effective July 17, 2000 SIC 1731/$10.5 Million. Resulting solicitation will provide the opportunity for bidders to submit an Invitation for Bid (IFB).
