The Army requires a contract for the construction of a 3,500 square foot addition to Newman Gym to include lighting, power, heating and air conditioning. The main structural elements are steel columns and steel roof joists. The interior function will be one open workout room. Mininmal windows for natural lighting will be provided on one wall. Interior will be painted CMU, athletic flooring and suspended acoustical tile ceiling. The exterior finish will be brick to match that of the existing facility. The SIC code for this project is 1542 and the size standard is $27.5M. The project is being solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. Project is also subject to the availability of funds.
